Appreciating
the plum blossom during the winter season has become a grand tour event. The
plum blossom is in full bloom every year from December till January and
February of the following year.

Taipei City. For visitors that do not have much time for a cherry blossom tour,
Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall is a good choice as it can simply be accessed
through a short MRT ride to the MRT Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall Station.
As
February through March is usually the time when most of the flowers of
Yangmingshan National Park bloom, the annual Yangmingshan Flower Season is
expected to be held around mid-Feb through March. It’s the flower blossoming
season of sakura (cherry blossom), azalea, camellia, wild peony, peach blossoms
and many more, covering Yangmingshan National Park with picturesque sceneries.
A number of events and activities are scheduled every year along with the
mesmerizing sceneries for visitors to see the charms of this Taiwan National
Park.
Wulai is one of Taiwan’s most favored tourist
destinations in northern Taiwan as it can simply be accessed through a short 40
minute ride via bus no. 849 to Wulai Bus Terminus from MRT
Xindian Station. Wulai Scenic
Area has various types of cherry blossoms including Prunus yedoensis cv.
Yedcensi, Prunus Iannesiana. Wils, Prunus taiwaniana Hayata and Prunus incise,
covering Wulai area with romantic cherry blossoms in early spring.
